How Ask the Teacher works

Transcript

You are stuck on a step and the video already ended. Ask the Teacher is a chat panel built into every lesson page. Send your question without leaving the course, and you will usually hear back the same day. Here is how it works.

The panel sits under the video, on every lesson you can access. Type your question and press Send. If the teacher is away, an AI teaching assistant may answer first, and it says plainly it was drafted by AI and reviewed by the teacher.

Every lesson gets its own thread with your name on it. Your question lands in a shared teacher inbox, sorted so unanswered questions rise to the top. Once it is answered, the reply lands back in that very same thread, not your email.

You do not have to sit and refresh. An accent dot shows up on the panel, and on that lesson's row in your library, the moment a reply lands. And because this is support, not live chat, you will usually hear back the same day.

On the teacher's side, every thread sits in one inbox sorted by status: escalated first, then open, then answered. A reply marks the thread answered. Anything the teaching assistant is unsure of gets escalated, so the teacher sees it before you do.

When the teacher is away, an automated pass checks for new questions every fifteen minutes, drafts an answer grounded only in that lesson's own content, and posts it if it is confident. If not, it escalates and waits for a human instead of guessing.

A few limits keep it useful. You can send up to twenty messages an hour. Nothing goes out by email or text, it stays inside the app. And never paste a password or a customer's data into the box, the teacher and assistant see it.

Start to finish: type your question and press Send. It lands in the teacher's inbox. A teacher, or the labeled AI assistant, answers, grounded in that lesson. And you see a small dot, then a reply, right there in the same thread.

You are never stuck alone with a lesson. Ask right on the page, and get a clearly labeled answer from the teacher or the teaching assistant, usually the very same day. Start at unstoppable dot academy. Become unstoppable.

The video already ended and you are still stuck on one step. Ask the Teacher is a chat panel built into every lesson page, so you can send your question without leaving the course. This lesson is a quick walkthrough of how it works, before you need it.

What you will use

  • Any lesson page you can access
  • Your member login
  • Nothing to install

Step 1: Find the panel

A collapsible "Ask the teacher" panel sits under the video, on every lesson you can access. The empty state says: "Stuck on this session? Ask here. You will usually hear back the same day."

Step 2: Ask your question

Type your question into the textarea and press Send. Replies are labeled You, Teacher, or Teaching assistant (AI), so you always know who answered.

Step 3: Know how an AI-drafted reply is labeled

If the teacher is away, an AI teaching assistant may draft a reply first. Every assistant message carries a one-line footer: "Drafted by the AI teaching assistant from this lesson. The teacher reviews these."

Step 4: Watch for the reply

The panel checks for new messages automatically while it is open. An accent dot shows up on the panel header and on that lesson's row in your library the moment a reply lands, so you do not have to keep refreshing.

Step 5: Know the response time

This is a support channel, not real-time chat. You will usually hear back the same day.

Step 6: Know the house rules

You can send up to 20 messages an hour. Nothing is sent by email or text, everything lives in the app. Do not paste passwords, API keys, or other credentials into a chat message, and do not share customer personal data, payment information, or confidential business information here.

Do this now

  • Open any lesson you can access and find the Ask the teacher panel under the video.
  • If anything from an earlier session was unclear, ask it now, so a reply is waiting by the time you need it.

You are done when...

You can point to the Ask the teacher panel on a lesson page, and you know the two labels to watch for in a reply: Teacher, and Teaching assistant (AI).

Template included: Members get a one-page reference: where the panel lives, the two reply labels, the same-day response expectation, and the house rules for what never to paste into a message. Find it in your member dashboard under Templates.
